Best Coast singer's album nerves
Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino has admitted she felt nervous about writing the surf-pop duo's second album.
The US duo, formed by Bethany and Bobb Bruno in 2009, have released a second record, The Only Place.
"I definitely had some anxiety about making the album, but I think that was just making a second record after a debut that did quite well," she said.
"That was nerve-wracking for me. Once I got over that, it was a very fun process, and having the experience of making one record definitely made the second easier."
Bethany said taking to the stage had become a lot easier.
"If anything I'm just a bit more confident on stage now. We've been touring for almost three years now, so I've learned how to be on stage," she said.
"Confidence is the main thing."
