Aston Merrygold has revealed he is happy for Simon Cowell, who is "smitten" with make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
"It's fantastic - I think 'everybody in love, put your hands up', that's what we always sing - love is a beautiful thing," said the JLS singer.
Aston and the other members of the chart-topping boy band star in the new ad for Walkers 'Sandwich' alongside Formula One world champion Jenson Button.
Aston claimed the boys are now "friends" with Jay-Z after meeting him at the Brit Awards.
Aston continued: "We bumped into him a couple of times backstage and then we went to his after-party so that was fun - he sent over a few bottles of champagne so I think that was his way of saying we're friends now."
Jay-Z was heard complimenting the guys, describing them as "as big as 'N Sync".
"That's nice and crazy," he said. "We all know how big 'N Sync were and still are, and to be compared to them, they are the word 'boy band'. They took it to a new level with the vocals, the dancing and the personalities, so that's amazing."
He said the band are looking forward to expanding their success around the world, including breaking the US.
"Definitely (we want success abroad) - and not just (in) America. We would love to go all over the world and share the album with everyone. But for now, we're over here and that's our goal," he added.
