Following appearances on stage with the British dance punk band, the former Dirty Pretty Things guitarist is now an "official live member", and will be playing live on their forthcoming tour dates, confirmed frontman Jamie Reynolds.

He told NME: "We needed someone extra and he seemed like a great all-round musician, a great guy to have with us."

Anthony has been spotted playing keyboards and the QChord in recent gigs, as he stood towards the back of the stage next to drummer Steffan Halperin and behind James Righton.

The 34-year-old, who was born in Connecticut, filled in for Pete Doherty in The Libertines after he left the band and later joined Dirty Pretty Things with Carl Barat.
