Adele's 'Hello' video beats Justin Beiber's 'Sorry' by half a million hits an hour
The video from Adele's first single from her upcoming album, 25, has beaten the video for Justin Beiber's 'Sorry' by over a half a million hits an hour.
Adele racked up an impressive fifty million times in 48 hours, averaging one million hits an hour with a peak of 1.6m. Justin Beiber's 'Sorry' video paled in comparison, gaining only twenty million hits in it's first 48 hours.
Beiber's debut was the third-largest music video debut of 2015 while Adele's release was the "biggest debut of any video on YouTube in 2015" and "one of the most-watched music video debuts of all time", according to YouTube.
'Adele Hello' was YouTube's top search on Friday and Saturday after the video's release.
