Zachary Quinto for Gershwin role?
Zachary Quinto may be playing legendary composer George Gershwin in a biopic.
The Star Trek and Heroes actor is reportedly in talks to portray the famed American music-maker, who wrote more than a dozen Broadway shows, including Porgy And Bess and Show Girl, with brother Ira before he died at 38.
According to Deadline Hollywood, accent and dialogue coaches are already being discussed for Zachary, and shooting for the film - penned by Doug Wright - could begin in April.
And it seems the film might even be directed by Steven Spielberg. A DreamWorks insider reportedly said it is one of three projects the director is looking at.
Zachary, who stars as menacing serial killer Sylar in Heroes, is expected to reprise his role as Spock in the Star Trek sequel, due out in 2012.
