Woody reunites with Messenger crew?
Woody Harrelson is in talks to star in The Messenger director Oren Moverman's new project.
The Kingpin star was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Messenger, the directorial debut of Israeli screenwriter and former journalist Oren about how US officers dealt the task of informing fallen soldiers' families the news of their death.
Now Production Weekly reports Woody and co-star Ben Foster are in talks to appear in Oren's new crime drama Rampart.
Written by James Ellroy, originally to be directed by Stephen Frears, Rampart tackles the controversial division of the LAPD which saw officers involved in multiple forms of corruption, including framing suspects, dealing drugs, robbing banks and covering up the evidence.
Oren is also among those rumoured to be in talks to direct the much-hyped Kurt Cobain biopic, so it is not known when Rampart will begin shooting.
