Willis film lawsuits dismissed
Duelling lawsuits between Bruce Willis and three film companies over a failed movie project have been dismissed, court records show.
The companies sued the Hollywood actor for four million dollars in March 2009, alleging he broke a contract to direct a film titled Three Stories About Joan.
Willis countersued for nearly nine million dollars a few days later, claiming the companies failed to show they had the money for the project on time.
Court filings in Los Angeles show the cases were dismissed this week.
No additional details were provided, and attorneys for Willis and the companies, Foresight Unlimited, Signature Entertainment Group and Three Stories Productions, did not immediately return phone messages seeking comment.
