Williams: Mum's the word for now
Michelle Williams has revealed she is keeping her work schedule free to focus on being a mother.
The Hollywood actress has picked up a Golden Globe and a best actress Oscar nod for her performance in My Week With Marilyn, but is now planning to take a break to look after Matilda, her six-year-old daughter with the late Heath Ledger.
When asked by E! on the Screen Actors Guild red carpet what she had in the pipeline, Michelle replied: "Absolutely nothing."
She went on: "I just want to go back to being a mom for a while."
Michelle also said she wants to wait until Matilda is older before letting her watch her awards ceremony appearances.
She explained: "I think it could be a pretty misleading part of my job that I don't want to expose her to yet. She'll get older and there'll be time for it but I think right now I like to keep it separate."
And the actress admitted she felt "incredibly lucky" to have starred in My Week With Marilyn.
"It was hard work, and to be experiencing this at the end of it all is completely unexpected and I'm appreciating every moment," she added.
