Forest Whitaker is apparently set to voice the male lead in a remake of animated French film Ernest And Celestine.
The Oscar-winning actor, 52, will lend his voice to a bear named Ernest in the English-language film, reported The Wrap.
Child actress Mackenzie Foy, who starred in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, will voice the female lead, a mouse called Celestine.
The film is about the friendship between the animals.
Forest's upcoming films include drama musical Black Nativity and drama Enemy Way.
Mackenzie, 12, is set to appear in Christopher Nolan's science fiction film Interstellar.
