Warwick Davis wants Willow sequel

Warwick Davis has revealed he is interested in making a sequel to his hit film Willow.
The 43-year-old actor starred in the fantasy film alongside Val Kilmer in 1988 and said he would like to reprise the role of aspiring sorcerer Willow Ufgood if the opportunity arose.
He said: "I would like to do it because I think it would be interesting, especially now Val and I are older, the characters will have aged.
"Will Willow have developed his sorcery any further? What's happened to Madmartigan's character over the years? Elora Danan will have grown up. Will she be successfully ruling the kingdom, or not? There's quite a lot of questions that could be answered. "
A Blu-ray marking the film's 25th anniversary is out this month.
"The most exciting thing for me is my behind-the-scenes footage which I've had sat in my house for years - all these tapes, and finally somebody's been able to make some use of it, and they created a little doc; my perspective on the making of the film, which people have never been able to see before," said the actor.
Warwick said it was "great" working with Hollywood star Val on the movie.
He said: "He's a bit of an enigma, isn't he? He's one of those actors you kind of know stuff about; he's normally in glossy gossip magazines. That's not really him. He's crazy and he's out there, but he's quite a regular guy. We got on so well.
"I couldn't have got through that film without people like him. Val kept me from taking it too seriously. He was always there to lend a bit of advice on acting. One of the things he said was, 'Don't forget to breathe'. Sometimes when you do a scene, you almost don't breathe."
:: Willow 25th Anniversary Blu-ray is available on March 11 from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
