Vinnie Jones' killer Kazakh role

Vinnie Jones is to play a mute assassin in a new Kazakh thriller The Liquidator.
The Russian-language film - shot in Almaty last February in six days on a tight budget of £1.2 million - will premiere in Kazakhstan on April 6 before being shown in Russia and elsewhere, the Daily Telegraph reported.
The footballer-turned-actor was cast in the film by director Akan Satayev because he is a huge fan of his performances in Guy Ritchie's gangster flicks Snatch and Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, and felt no Russian or Kazakh actor could fill the role.
Vinnie, who missed his own annual pre-Oscar's party to attend the shoot, joked at the time: "What can you do? You can't turn down Quentin Tarantino ... or the Russian mafia."
Talgat Murat, Mr Satayev's assistant said: "Other actors are not brutal enough. When someone sees him (Vinnie) in cinema, they understand instantly that this is a killer, undoubtedly."
Details of the violent acts committed by Vinnie's silent assassin are being kept under wraps, but Murat said: "He does do some evil deeds. I can't tell you now because it's secret.
"But the film is very violent. That's why we asked him to come, because he has an image of someone who solves problems in a violent way."
