Alicia Vikander could be starring in two upcoming dramas, according to reports.
The Swedish actress is said to be in talks to join Michael Fassbender in Derek Cianfrance's drama, The Light Between Oceans, and Tom Hooper's Lili Elbe biopic.
The 25-year-old is "closing a deal" to star in Derek's big-screen adaptation of ML Stedman's novel, and is also in line to join Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl, reported Deadline.
The Light Between Oceans is about a couple living in a lighthouse who find a baby washed ashore in a boat, and decide to raise it as their own.
The Danish Girl will tell the story of Danish painter Lili, formerly Einar Wegener, who was one of the world's first recipients of sexual reassignment surgery.
Alicia, who has appeared in Anna Karenina alongside Keira Knightley and the Julian Assange biopic, The Fifth Estate, with Benedict Cumberbatch, will next star opposite Domnhall Gleeson in Alex Garland's sci-fi thriller Ex Machina and Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
