Valderrama joins Castro's Daughter
Wilmer Valderrama has landed a role in historical drama Castro's Daughter.
The star of That 70s Show has been cast alongside Colombian actress Catalina Sandino Moreno in the movie, reported Variety.
The film has been described as a coming of age story and follows Alina Fernandez, daughter of Fidel Castro, which is the role Catalina will play.
Alina fled Cuba as a dissident in 1993 and later wrote her memoir.
Wilmer, 33, will play one of Alina's childhood friends, who is persecuted under Castro's regime.
Sarah Siegel-Magness is directing the film, with shooting due to start in Puerto Rico early next year.
