Travolta: Stunts were a bit tricky

John Travolta has admitted performing his stunts in new flick From Paris With Love was a challenge.
The Hairspray star shoots, dodges and bombs his way through the French capital in Pierre Morel's action adventure, and despite being 56, was keen to be as active as he could.
"The idea that Pierre thought I could do this sort of thing at my age, it was a challenge - I thought if they really believe I can go upside down and shoot through a hole, and jump over rooftops, and beat up a gang and do it myself, I'm not going to disappoint them... and I did it, I did probably 95 per cent of my stunts," he said.
He added: "The script had the most advanced stunts I've ever read, I'd never done this kind of thing at this level."
John - whose recent film roles included Bolt, Hairspray and Wild Hogs - relished the opportunity to return to action in the movie, which also stars Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.
"I like the movement and the different mindset. You use your body in a different way in an action movie and as long as it's well written and it's well directed, I love it," he said.
:: From Paris With Love will be released on February 26.
