Topher Grace's Valentine's massacre
Topher Grace revealed he saw his new film Valentine's Day for the first time while covered in fake blood.
The Spider-Man 3 star had been filming new action thriller Predators before attending a screening of the movie in which he plays Anne Hathaway's new boyfriend.
Topher said: "It was weird, I finished that the day before I saw Valentine's Day for the first time, and I was covered in blood, you know, fake blood - it was an action movie, there were explosions and then I came back and watched this and there was me and Anne Hathaway at a dinner table."
He laughed: "It was hilarious how different it was."
Topher, 31, and Anne, 27, have been friends for 11 years but he insists it wasn't awkward filming bedroom scenes with her for Valentine's Day.
He said: "Well I've certainly done that with people I've never even met before, so it's better that you know the person."
Topher added: "Any chance to work with her is great, you know, to be such good friends with such a great actress.
"Before either of us had ever been in movies I always wanted to work with her, but then you know, she starts getting nominated for Academy Awards and it's like, come on, let's make this happen. It was good, we had to take what is in real life and put it up on the screen which I think is great."
