Tom Hardy may be one of Hollywood’s most lusted after movie stars but old pictures have emerged to prove that he wasn’t always as slick.
Photographs discovered on an old Myspace account belonging to the Dark Knight Rises star show him posing in his boxers, pouting in the mirror and sporting a dodgy moustache.
The actor also seems to have copped on to the art of the selfie way before the rest of the world and in one photo can be seen snapping one, while a friend takes a photo of his dinner.
The hilarious discovery also hosts photographs of a cheeky Tom posing with Patrick Stewart and in a car with the yet to be discovered Benedict Cumberbatch.
The actor can also be seen preparing for the role of Batman’s Bain way before he even landed the role as he poses with a gun in his toned arms in one of the snaps.
Meanwhile, the star who is currently touring to promote Mad Max, was bemused last weeki when a journalist asked about the lack of men starring in the film.
Toronto Star film critic Peter Howell asked Tom how he felt about the lack of men in the movie, clearly referring to the fact that Men's Rights Activists recently called for a boycott of the film because they deemed it a "feminist piece of propaganda posing as a guy flick".
Howell said, "Tom, I’ll preface my remarks by saying that I have five sisters, a wife, a daughter and a mother so I know what it’s like to be outgunned by oestrogen. But I just wanted to ask you, as you were reading the script did you ever think ‘why are all these women in here. I thought this was supposed to be a man’s movie?"
Hardy, a little surprised, said, "No. Not for one minute." before adding, "That’s kind of obvious. But like, but also in reference to the concept of having a script, that would have been nice."
It kicks off about 9.50...
