Tennant sees double in Nativity 2?
David Tennant and Joanna Page could be teaming up for Nativity 2.
The former Doctor Who is said to be stepping into the shoes of Martin Freeman, who is busy filming his lead role in Peter Jackson's two-part Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit in New Zealand, and is tipped to play twins in the festive sequel.
According to Variety, one twin will lead a group of underachieving kids in a national Nativity contest while the other - his brother - is a teacher at a rich private school.
Gavin And Stacy star Joanna is also thought to be on board for the film, as David's love interest, reported Screen Daily.
Returning faces include Marc Wootton as sidekick Mr Poppy, Jason Watkins as villainous rival Gordon Shakespeare and Pam Ferris as Mrs Bevans.
Filming has begun in the Midlands, with a release set for Christmas 2012.
