Tatum to lead mob crime thriller
Channing Tatum is set to star in and produce a true crime thriller about a family man who tries to take on the mob.
Set in the late 1970s, the untitled project tells the inspiring true story of an ordinary family man who decides to go undercover in an attempt bring down a notorious gangster, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Channing will be joined by his producing partner Reid Carolin, as well as Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, best known for movie musicals such as Chicago and producing the recent 86th Academy Awards.
Kristin Gore, who worked with Zadan and Meron as a writer on the Oscars ceremony, will pen the script.
Channing will next be seen returning alongside Jonah Hill in undercover cop comedy sequel 22 Jump Street.
