Channing Tatum has confessed to having performance nerves when it came to being funny for Vince Vaughn and director Ron Howard in The Dilemma.
"I've never been so nervous than going to a rehearsal with Vince and Ron - in my entire life!" the Dear John star admits.
"If I'm totally honest, I'm not a comedy guy and I think everyone will agree to that."
But the 30-year-old took advice from his co-star and was determined to hold his own in the comedy about a man that discovers his best friend's wife is having an affair.
He explained: "You just try to hold on as tight as you can because [Vince] just keeps running, you're just like 'Oh my god! Oh my god!' but he's such a giving person. If you just listen to him he's fantastic, he helped me a lot."
The film itself takes place in Vaughn's hometown Chicago. Channing says locals were overjoyed to have their boy Vince make a movie back home.
"It just erupted, it was incredible. It was an honour to be [there]," he revealed.
The Dilemma is released in cinemas on Friday, January 21.
