Tarantino and Jackson to reunite
Samuel L Jackson will be teaming up with director Quentin Tarantino for the fifth time, it has been confirmed.
A publicist for the Hollywood star has told Variety that the actor has signed up for the film Django Unchained.
The Pulp Fiction star had been widely tipped to play Stephen, a house slave and the right-hand man of a sadistic slavemaster.
Jamie Foxx is expected to take the title role in the movie, as a freed slave, while Leonardo DiCaprio is tipped for the part of an evil plantation owner.
Samuel will join Django Unchained after appearing as Martin Luther King Jr on Broadway in The Mountaintop, opposite Angela Bassett.
As well as Pulp Fiction, he has also made Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol 2 and Inglourious Basterds with filmmaker Quentin.
