Sucker Punch has box office clout

Sucker Punch has achieved the top box office spot in the international arena this past weekend with 10.7 million dollars in 31 territories.
Fanboys and girls the world over found much to like in Zack Snyder's visual tour-de-force - starring Abbie Cornish and Emily Browning - and the film is now on the cusp of a 50 million dollar worldwide gross.
Battle: Los Angeles took second spot with 10.1 million dollars as it nears 100 million in global receipts. Playing in a massive 49 territories, the film is invading theatres around the globe and drawing international audiences with its non-stop action.
Also making the top five is the marquee-busting film titled Doraemon The Movie: Nobita And The Steel Troops: The New Age with 7.1 million dollars in just one territory.
After five weeks, the film has earned an impressive 29.9 million. Doraemon is an animated character and cultural icon that was introduced in Japan nearly 40 years ago.
In the list, provided by Hollywood.com, the top five is completed by Adam Sandler rom com Just Go With It at three, taking 9.7 million dollars, and Johnny Depp's Rango at four, with 8.5 million.
