Russell Crowe will get his accent down to pat for Robin Hood, co-star Mark Strong has said.
The Australian actor has been having extensive voice training to perfect an authentic East Midlands twang for his portrayal of the infamous outlaw in Ridley Scott's forthcoming film.
"He's working with very good voice people and he is a fantastic actor so I think he's going to nail it," said Mark, who plays henchman Sir Godfrey in the movie.
He revealed he hasn't heard Russell's accent yet.
"We're going to find out. I've no idea. I think Barnsley is the actual arena he's attempting," he added.
Mark, who currently stars in Kick-Ass with Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, has only had a glimpse of the film, which will be released in May, but he says fans won't be disappointed.
"It's epic - epic and classic Ridley Scott," he hinted.
