Stiller 'very proud' of Zoolander 2
Ben Stiller can't wait for people to see the Zoolander sequel.
The US comedian - who directed, co-wrote, co-produced and starred as pouting model Derek Zoolander in 2001's satirical comedy - is chuffed about the script for the much-anticipated follow-up.
"I am very proud of the script," he told The Hollywood Reporter of the screenplay which was written last year with Tropic Thunder co-writer Justin Theroux.
The story is said to pick up ten years after the first film left off with Derek's School For Kids Who Can't Read Good destroyed.
Ben admitted it took a while for the script to be written: "There were maybe 20, 30 drafts, and at one time I walked away from it and they had somebody else rewrite it and they were going to do it without me, which was kind of ironic. Then it came back around."
