Steve Carell on 'dangerous' kids

Steve Carell has joked that children can be more dangerous than cars.
The US funnyman, who next stars in Date Night with Tina Fey, quipped that small children posed more of a danger to him than moving vehicles.
"The most dangerous stunt that we had to do was when the kids jump on us at the beginning of the movie, because little kids, as you know, are wild cards - they are not precise, not at all, and they have extremely sharp elbows and knees, so we were bruised more from that scene than anything else," he said.
In Date Night, Steve gets to crash an Audi R8 into a cab.
"It's in my contract that there has to be some sort of crash in every movie I appear in," he said.
"It's fun. And that vehicle is extremely fun, the R8. That was a pleasure, to smash into another car. I do all my own stunts, all of them, except the ones that are dangerous."
:: Date Night is released on April 21.
