The stars of the critically-acclaimed Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy are set to gather in London for its UK premiere.
Oscar-winner Colin Firth, Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and Inception star Tom Hardy will all attend the event along with Gary Oldman, who plays veteran spy George Smiley in the film based on John le Carre's best-selling novel.
The thriller, whose cast also includes Kathy Burke, John Hurt and Stephen Graham, follows retired secret agent Smiley as he tries to uncover a mole in the heart of British intelligence.
The author, whose book was famously made into a 1979 television series featuring Alec Guinness as Smiley, will also attend the premiere at the BFI Southbank in the capital.
He has admitted having "misgivings" about the film initially but said his "anxieties were misplaced".
He has also paid tribute to Oldman, saying his performance "pays full honour to the genius of Guinness".
The cold war era depicted in the film is based in part on le Carre's own experiences working for MI5 and MI6.
