Smith to adapt Harlem Hellfighters
Will Smith is making a movie adaptation of the upcoming graphic novel Harlem Hellfighters.
The Hollywood star has teamed up with Sony, which owns the rights to Max Brooks' book, to take the story to the big screen, reported Shadow And Act.
After Earth star Will is set to produce via his company Overbrook Entertainment, but it isn't known whether he might also star in the film.
The novel - which is due out later this year - tells the story of the 369th Infantry Regiment of the US Army, the first African American regiment to serve with the American Expeditionary Force during World War I.
They were nicknamed the Harlem Hellfighters.
