Sheen back in the Major League?
Charlie Sheen could be about to reprise his role as Rick 'Wild Thing' Vaughn in new film Major League 3.
Major League writer-director David S Ward has penned a film which sees the baseball star of his first two movies come out of retirement to mentor a young team, Moviehole.net reports.
Ward, who directed 1989's Major League and the 1994 sequel Major League II starring Charlie as Wild Thing, wants to reprise the original cast.
Tom Berenger played veteran Jake Taylor, Corbin Bernsen was ace hitter Roger Dorn and Wesley Snipes was Willie Mays Hayes in the original films.
Ward says Charlie is excited about participating, but that he is yet to talk to the other actors.
"If and when it happens," shooting could begin as soon as next year during Charlie's break from his show Two And A Half Men.
A third instalment, Major League: Back To The Minors, was released in 1998 but Ward only co-wrote the film with director of the project John Warren and Corbin was the only original cast member involved.
