Scodelario for Truth About Fishes
Kaya Scodelario is set to star in indie drama Emanuel And The Truth About Fishes, according to reports.
The former Skins star - who takes the lead in Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights - would portray troubled 17-year-old girl Emanuel, reported Variety.
In the movie, which has been written and will be directed by Francesca Gregorini, Emanuel babysits her neighbour's new 'baby' - which is actually a very life-like doll.
Production is expected to begin next year.
Kaya, who won supporting roles in Moon and Clash Of The Titans and played Effy Stonem in E4 show Skins, next appears opposite Dakota Fanning in teenage drama Now Is Good, and in British thriller Twenty8k.
She is also attached to Tim Fywell's big-screen adaptation of Lesley Glaister's novel, Now You See Me, and Robert Cavanah's Invisible, in which she is tipped to play a teenage runaway trying to escape her enforced prostitution.
