Saoirse draws adoring fans for premiere of new movie
ACTRESS Saoirse Ronan braved the pouring rain in a pair of high-heeled sandals last night for the Irish premiere of the new 'Tin Tin' movie.
Her outfit was not completely impractical as she threw on a black mac before making a dash for her car outside the Merrion Hotel in Dublin.
Ronan was in town to present the premiere of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's 3D animation film 'The Adventures of Tin Tin' at the Savoy Cinema.
Dressed in a stunning blue gown, she took time out to pose for the cameras with her fans.
She also bumped into actor Liam Cunningham -- star of 'Falling for a Dancer' -- who has been busy filming a new TV mini-series, 'Titanic: Blood and Steel'.
The actress previously worked with Jackson on the film 'The Lovely Bones'.
Brussels-born writer Georges Remi, who wrote under the name Herge, created the Tin Tin character in 1929.
The new film stars 'Billy Elliot' star Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, and Daniel Craig.
At the London premiere, James Bond star Craig turned amateur photographer as he snapped himself with fans. Large crowds turned up for the premiere at the Odeon West End.
