Sandra Bullock to return Razzie
Sandra Bullock has been asked to return her Worst Actress Razzie.
But the Oscar-winning star, currently in the public eye after husband Jesse James was accused of infidelity, is not being asked to give back her Golden Raspberry award because the board have had second thoughts about her performance in rom-com All About Steve - the Blind Side actress left the ceremony with the original prototype Razzie, instead of the five-dollar replica the winners are meant to take home.
John Wilson, the Razzies co-founder, told the Daily Telegraph: "We are ready to take the unprecedented step of asking a winner to return a Razzie. As Sandra was in such a rush after winning worst actress, she ran off with the original handmade prototype, which has been present at ceremonies since the 1980s."
The organisation realised the mix-up as news of Jesse's alleged affairs broke and decided to wait to ask for the safe return of the original out of respect of Sandra's privacy.
Sandra brought a cart full of All About Steve DVDs to the ceremony, accusing the board of not watching the movie and promising if they did, and still felt she deserved the Worst Actress Razzie, she would return and collect it again.
But Wilson said despite All About Steve, co-starring Bradley Cooper, being "a stinker of a movie", he though Sandra was "a lovely person" and added: "I wouldn't say she was the worst actress of the year though. I mean - did anyone actually see Megan Fox in Transformers 2?"
