Sam Worthington has revealed that working with big names makes him feel nervous.

The Australian actor stars in Clash Of The Titans with Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes, where he plays Greek hero Perseus, but under his hard-wearing suit of armour, he wasn't feeling very tough.

"It was intimidating and I s**t myself - Liam is the big boy... When you're playing with the big boys, you man up and shut up and listen," he told the Daily Star.

Sam - who shot to fame after being in Terminator Salvation and Avatar - took advice from the pair.

"Liam acts with such grace. He's a gentleman and an imposing force on screen. You observe what he can do on set and he gives you advice on how to handle all this and the outside world with some sensitivity," he added.

"Same with Ralph. Collectively, there's 100-odd movies between them, so as far as an infant like me is concerned, you listen."

:: Clash Of The Titans is out on Friday, April 2.
