Russell hangs out with Helen as Katy rocks on
WHILE Katy Perry wowed a packed O2 last night, her husband Russell Brand was busy in Los Angeles with Helen Mirren.
The leading British actress is still making an impression in Hollywood.
Oscar-winning Mirren sank her feet in wet cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre, joining a long list of celebrity hand and foot prints in the courtyard of the famed Hollywood tourist spot.
The ceremony came less than two weeks before the release of her latest movie, 'Arthur', in which she plays the nanny to the irresponsible billionaire played by Brand, who introduced Mirren to the crowd.
Back in Dublin, American singing star Taylor Swift joined the audience enjoying the Perry show.
Swift, who played the same venue the previous night, watched the concert from the sound desk. Jedward also attended.
Arriving on stage at 9.10pm in a pink puffball skirt, topped with a jewelled heart corset, Perry had a stack of hits to rely on in her near two-hour set. "Ireland, you look gorgeous tonight, even if it is a Monday," Katy told her fans. She'll be back in November for two more gigs.
