Paul Rudd is apparently in talks to star in cryogenic drama Freezing People Is Easy.

The Our Idiot Brother star is attached to the lead role of Bob Nelson, a Los Angeles TV repairman who tried to pioneer the field of cryogenics by freezing humans in the 1960s, reported Deadline.

Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig and Christopher Walken are also said to be circling roles in Errol Morris' forthcoming film.

Inspired by the memoir We Froze The First Man and an episode of This American Life, the film - written by Zach Helm - is preparing for a shoot in mid-2012.

Paul's upcoming big-screen outings will be in romantic comedy Wanderlust with Jennifer Aniston, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower alongside Emma Watson and the Knocked Up spin-off, This Is Forty.
