Ronan set for another war flick
Saoirse Ronan is in talks to star in war drama How I Live Now.
The Irish starlet could be taking the lead in the big-screen adaptation of Meg Rosoff's novel of the same name, reported Variety.
The 17-year-old is said to be considering the role of Daisy, a teenage girl from New York who travels to England to spend a summer with family, only to find herself trying to survive as World War II breaks out.
Kevin Macdonald is reportedly on board to direct, from a script by Jeremy Brock, his former collaborator on The Last King Of Scotland, and Tony Grisoni.
Saoirse - who wowed audiences as a teenage assassin in Hanna - has been filming Neil Jordan's Byzantium.
She is also set to start work on Andrew Niccol's film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's sci-fi novel The Host.
