Robert Downey Jr wins acting honour
Robert Downey Jr was honoured with a top acting award at a ceremony in Chicago.
The Iron Man star was presented with the Gene Siskel Film Centre's Renaissance Award because he is "one of the most respected and versatile actors of his generation".
Downey Jr, 45, gave an interview to director Todd Phillips, saying three of his movies are the "most representative" of his work - Tropic Thunder, Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man.
The star is to appear in Phillips' film Due Date as a first-time dad trying to make it home in time for the birth of his baby.
