Riseborough finds a Silver Lining?
Andrea Riseborough is apparently battling for a role in David O Russell's The Silver Linings Playbook.
The rising British starlet is said to be trying out for the lead female part alongside other Hollywood beauties such as Kirsten Dunst, Blake Lively, Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams, Olivia Wilde and Elizabeth Banks, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Mark Wahlberg - who previously worked with David on the Oscar-winning The Fighter - would play a depressed man who leaves a mental institution in search of the little things in life.
The duo are also planning the sequel to The Fighter.
Andrea, who appeared in Made In Dagenham and Brighton Rock, will next appear in Madonna's WE, which will receive its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
She is also reported to have nabbed the female lead in Welcome To The Punch, alongside James McAvoy and Mark Strong.
