Reese Witherspoon is planning to make a biopic about late jazz starlet Peggy Lee.
The Legally Blonde star, who won an Oscar for portraying June Carter in Walk The Line, is in talks to star as the Fever songstress and actress, reported Variety.com.
Reese secured the rights to Peggy's life from the Lee estate, and will be producing with Marc Platt and working with writer-director Nora Ephron.
The 34-year-old, who is currently filming Water For Elephants with Twilight star Robert Pattinson, is also due to appear in romantic comedy How Do You Know with Paul Rudd and Jack Nicholson, and action comedy This Means War.
