Daniel Radcliffe has talked about his gay sex scene in Kill Your Darlings, describing it as "something new".
The Harry Potter star shows he has graduated from the boy wizard role with his portrayal of the late gay Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in John Krokidas' indie drama, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
"It was something new. But you know what, we shot that whole scene in maybe an hour and a half so it was incredibly fast-paced," he told E! News.
"I didn't really have time to stop to think and worry about it."
The steamy scene didn't faze Daniel, who credited the director for helping him through it.
"John was very helpful in furnishing me with a lot of graphic detail of what I would be experiencing at the various stages," he admitted.
The 23-year-old also joked that he has no plans to reunite with Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson on screen any time soon.
"We need some time apart for a while. We had 10 years together and it was wonderful, but now we have to find success in our own realms," he said.
