Puzzle over for Saw 3D's Tobin Bell
Tobin Bell has said Saw 3D is the final piece of the puzzle for the horror franchise.
Posters for the seventh movie describe the film as 'The Final Chapter' and Tobin says he has no secret contract to come back from the dead - again.
"Is it over? I suspect barring some weird unforeseen circumstance it is," the actor revealed.
"It's not my decision you know, but it's like asking a lieutenant when the general makes a decision," he said. "I think this is as good a place to stop as any."
Tobin said he found leaving the Jigsaw Killer behind was both liberating and emotional.
"Whenever you play a guy for seven films and you do a certain amount of work on that, it's like climbing a mountain," he explained. "You leave the mountain, you're glad you're still alive and have survived, but nonetheless you have an emotional attachment to the endeavour."
He went on: "In that way it's bittersweet but there are a thousand characters out there - John Kramer is only one."
Tobin's next project will be a new comedy on television in the States.
"I'm already moving on in my head. I don't feel as if I've accomplished what I'm capable of at all yet so I've got to figure out how to do that." he said.
