Phillippe 'not quitting acting'
Ryan Phillippe could be putting acting on the back burner to focus on directing and producing films.
The Lincoln Lawyer star plays a photographer in his new film The Bang Bang Club, but he complained to The New York Post about paparazzi culture and revealed he's become so fed up of having no privacy in Hollywood he's considering ending his acting career.
Ryan said: "It's so hard to go out in LA. I'm going to move. I'm going to spend a third of my year in New York.
"I think I'm going to end my acting career. I'm so introverted. I'm ready to be behind the scenes. I'm 36, but I've been doing this for 20 years."
The Crash star's comments have sparked rumours he is planning to quit acting for good, but his representative has been quick to deny the reports.
In fact he is apparently thinking of branching out in the film industry.
Ryan's spokesman told Access Hollywood.com: "He's been talking about expanding his talents to producing and directing, but he has no plans to stop acting nor did he ever say that he was considering doing so."
