Ty Burrell has admitted how nervous he was as his latest character was immortalised in Hollywood.
The Modern Family star lends his voice to accomplished dog Mr Peabody in the animated movie Mr Peabody & Sherman and the talented pet was given one of the highest honours in Tinseltown.
Mr Peabody left his pawprints in cement in front of the famed TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, with Ty and co-star Max Charles on hand for support.
Some of the film world's most famous dogs also came to Hollywood to honour one of their own at the ceremony.
Toto, Lassie, Beethoven and Marley were among the animal stars there to mark the occasion.
After the ceremony Ty admitted his hand was shaking as he signed Mr Peabody's name next to the pawprints.
"I did not know that I was nervous until I was trying to sign, then I realised I was nervous because my hand was telling me."
He added: "This movie is a huge time travel comedy and I hope kids have a blast, it's very funny, but it's also about adoption. Peabody adopts Sherman and through the movie they figure out they love each other. He goes from mentor to parent."
Mr Peabody & Sherman is in cinemas now.
