Paranormal Activity sequel 'scary'
Katie Featherston has promised Paranormal Activity 2 is "incredibly frightening".
The 28-year-old reprises her role as Katie for the sequel to the surprise haunted hit, which originally pulled in audiences after a spooky viral campaign.
"The second one is incredibly frightening," the actress said at a special fans' screening in Hollywood ahead of the movie's worldwide release.
She teased: "There are some good surprises that I can't leak, but that I think will really make fans excited."
Paramount bosses have tried their best to keep the film's plot under wraps.
The original low-budget movie focused on evil spirits terrorizing a young couple.
"I think the second movie really stays true to the first film with being realistic," Katie promised. "It really uses the audience and their imagination is what's going to scare them, just like the first one!"
Katie also commented on her return to the movie, confirming: "I do turn up in the second one."
She added: "They kept it a secret for so long, up to a few days ago that it was actually confirmed, and I think it was smart on their behalf.
"It was hard for me to keep my mouth shut but I'm so glad to be a part of it."
