Pacino plays hedge fund magnate
Al Pacino is set to star in the financial thriller Arbitrage alongside Eva Green and Susan Sarandon, it has been revealed.
The Hollywood star will play a hedge fund magnate who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed, according to Variety.
He turns to the most unlikely corner for help after an unlikely, bloody error, the film website said.
Director Nicholas Jarecki, who has also written the drama and whose credits include documentary The Outsider, will begin filming in New York early next year.
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star Susan plays the magnate's wife while Eva is his art dealer mistress.
Oscar-winner Al's forthcoming projects include Adam Sandler comedy Jack And Jill. He recently starred with Susan in TV drama You Don't Know Jack.
