Orlando's Hobbit family reunion
Orlando Bloom says working on Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit is like a family get-together.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star is reprising his role as elf warrior Legolas in the new film, along with Lord Of The Rings' co-stars Cate Blanchett as queen Galadriel, Elijah Wood as Frodo, Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
Orlando said: "It's wonderful. It's great to be back in New Zealand with Pete (director Peter Jackson), it's like a family reunion."
Martin Freeman stars as hobbit hero Bilbo Baggins in the 3D films, due for release in December 2012 and December 2013.
In Orlando's latest film The Three Musketeers - a new spin on the classic tale directed by Paul WS Anderson - he plays the Duke of Buckingham, a rock star inspired villain.
He revealed: "When we were starting it was Paul who said he wanted us to base these characters on rock stars. Which kind of gives you a flavour that we're going for that kind of feel for the movie."
The Duke of Buckingham flies an airship in the 3D film, but Orlando revealed he prefers to be behind the wheels of his motorbike.
He said: "I have a really cool motorbike. It's my cool gadget. I like bikes."
