Orlando Bloom lands Doctor role?
Orlando Bloom looks set to play a troubled doctor in a new indie film.
The British actor - who recently revealed he wouldn't be reprising his role in the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie - will take the lead in The Good Doctor, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Crash actor Michael Pena and Oscar nominated actress Taraji P Henson are among a string of other stars in talks to appear in the thriller, which follows an ambitious doctor who tampers with a teenager's treatment so he can use her to impress his colleagues.
Orlando, 33, will also have a producer credit on The Good Doctor, which will be directed by Lance Daly.
Production is expected to get under way within the next few days.
