Gary Oldman has revealed he has received a phone call about a role in Star Wars: Episode VII.
The 55-year-old, who stars in Jose Padilha's RoboCop reboot, admitted he has been in touch with the bosses of the upcoming instalment, but isn't holding out much hope at the moment.
"They've called," he told Sky Movies.
"You know, I'm more cynical about it now. I'll believe it when I'm on the plane home. The deal isn't done, but yeah, they've inquired."
Gary, who has starred in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, four of the Harry Potter films and is set to star in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, joked that his success in blockbusters has been beyond his wildest dreams.
"I mean Planet Of The Apes, Harry Potter, Batman, and Star Wars... B****y hell!" he quipped.
Gary joins a list of other stars who have been linked to a role in the next Star Wars movie.
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ryan Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio, Saoirse Ronan, Alex Pettyfer, Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael B Jordan are among the other names that have also been rumoured for roles in Star Wars: Episode VII, which will be directed by JJ Abrams.
