No height worries for Schwartzman
Jason Schwartzman has said he has no insecurities about his height.
The 31-year-old - who plays supervillain Gideon Graves in Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - stands at 5ft 6in but insisted his height has never been a short-coming.
"I never cared about my height - all the actors I ever met were small," he told The Times. "It's not really about being 6ft tall. It's about bringing joy."
Jason worked out for eight weeks to transform himself into a muscled action man for the film, which also stars Michael Cera, as all the fights were done live on camera.
"It was really exciting because trainers are so expensive and I could get into shape for free," he joked.
He admitted being an action star was hard work.
"I'm easily distracted so I had to stay focused so I didn't make the wrong move or take someone's legs off - we had plastic swords, but they were very hard," he recalled.
"It takes a real connection between two people to sword-fight, it's like dancing, and your mind can't slip for a second. We were also wearing circus harnesses so we could fly 30ft off the ground. I had some very odd bruises on my inner thighs."
