Nic Cage returns to Trespass role

Nicolas Cage has signed back on to star in new drama Trespass as the husband of a woman kidnapped by thieves.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice star had quit the project, co-starring Nicole Kidman and directed by Joel Schumacher, just two weeks before it was due to start filming n Louisiana, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Nicolas was to play her husband, but within the last two weeks it was reported that he would instead play the leader of the kidnappers. Millennium offered the husband role to Liev Schreiber, and it was reported that Nicolas had walked.
But Deadline has now revealed Nic has returned to the role of the husband and Cam Gigandet will play the lead kidnapper.
Millennium has pushed the film's start date back from August 16 to August 30.
Nicolas has recently been on a demanding world tour promoting new Disney film The Sorcerer's Apprentice and has reportedly been on holiday to the Bahamas to recuperate.
