New Shrek film to open Tribeca
The world premiere of the new Shrek movie is to open the Tribeca Film Festival.
Shrek Forever After, featuring the voices of stars including Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers, will be screened at the event in New York on April 21.
The feature is the fourth film in DreamWorks Animation's Shrek series and is being advertised as the "final chapter".
It will be the first Shrek released in 3-D.
The annual New York film festival, co-created by Robert De Niro, runs until May 2.
The rest of its slate will be announced in the coming weeks.
