N-Dubz's Tulisa makes film debut
N-Dubz's Tulisa Contostavlos is to make her big screen debut in a gritty new film drama about teen suicide.
The 22-year-old singer will star in Suicide Kids, about a young girl who takes her own life, encouraging seven other depressed London teenagers to form a suicide pact.
The Wire's Idris Elba is to executive produce the film, written and directed by London-born Arjun Rose.
Suicide Kids will also star Adulthoods' Adam Deacon, Misfits' Robert Sheehan, Hollyoaks' Emma Rigby and This Is England's Andrew Ellis.
Shooting begins later this month.
Tulisa has acted before in 2005 TV show Dubplate Drama, playing a cocaine-addicted pop star who was abused by her manager and boyfriend.
